    Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) is a technology used to separate some gas species from mixture of gases under pressure according to the species' molecular characteristics and affinity for an adsorbent material. it operates at near ambient temperatures and filters significantly from cryogenic distillation techniques of gas separation. specific adsorptive material are used as a trap, preferentially adsorbing the target gas species at high pressure. the process then swings to low pressure to desorb the adsorbed material. PSA generator provide a cost-efficient source of oxygen. they are safer, less expensive, and more convenient as an alternative to tanks of cryogenic oxygen or cylinders.

    Applications

    It can be used in various industries including agricultural, pharmaceutical production, water treatment and glass manufacture, ozone generator gas supply.
